Sculpture and other art forms
Where can I do this?
Indoors
Are the costs to get started high or low?
Low
Would I be doing this in a group, in a couple, or on my own?
Alone
Are there physical requirements that might make it difficult for me to participate?
Dexterity required. Standing or sitting.
So what's it all about?
I'm lumping a lot of different art forms together here! But think of art forms that involve using physical materials to make something with your hands.
Pottery. Mosaic. Collage. Papier-mâché. Plaster of paris casts. Soap carving. Wood carving. Clay modeling with those bright colored sets you can buy in art stores or dollar stores and bake in an oven.
Get started with everyday objects you find around the house by exploring art & craft activity ideas for kids, like this one here: https://artfulparent.com/activities/sculpture/
(If the idea of doing activities aimed at children makes you squeamish, examine that reaction a while. Explore what is holding you back. What does it say about who you think you are, and how you see yourself? Your ability or permission to "play"? Do you believe there is an age limit to free, uninhibited creativity that has no purpose?)
