Like creative writing, making art is a way to express your emotions, ideas, and imagination. It doesn't matter whether other people ever see it or like it. What matters is how it feels while you are doing it.

You can use anything you have to hand. Draw on a computer or the back of an envelope. Art supplies can get very pricey, but you can also get perfectly good paints and pencils at Dollar Stores.
